Mr Worm Children’s Book

 
Mr. Worm Señor Gusano  is an inspirational story written in English and Spanish about a curious little apple worm that discovers he has been eating ‘magic’ apples from a special little apple tree.  By eating from this special apple tree, he can be granted any wish if he believes.  Don Pablo, the wise owner of the orchard, says to the worm, “Magic is in believing.” 

As the story develops, Mr. Worm Señor Gusano has to face some challenges.  Being the champion that he is, he does not give up.  He handles all the challenges, and goes on a journey to share the miracle he has experienced.

Meet the Author

 
Isabel Apodaca is an author, speaker, and educator. Isabel’s earliest years were spent living in New Mexico and Texas. She moved to the Pasadena area as a young child and still resides in Southern California.

Now that she is a retired school teacher of grades two through eight and a counselor of middle school students, her days are filled with expressing herself through her writing.

The love, joy and adventure she experienced as a teacher is kept alive in writing this children’s book. It is her desire that all children become passionate about the world of literature.

Meet the Illustrator

 
Jill Reneé grew up in Claremont, California. Presently, she resides in Rancho Cucamonga with her husband Dave, and sons, Brandon and Nicholas.

 Jill is passionate about art and loves to draw. Her preference is animation. Jill said, “As I drew Mr. Worm, I envisioned the reader wanting to pick him up and give him a big hug because he is so very cute. I know that when a child sees his transformation they will say to themselves, WOW!”

 Jill is thankful to her parents for supporting her art while growing up and her husband and children for all of their love.
