Dear Ms. Apodaca

On behalf of a precious patient who got to forget about medical procedures for a few hours and remember what it’s like just to be a kid, thank you for partnering with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital through visiting the hospital and reading the book you wrote entitled “Mr. Worm, Senor Gusano” and then giving the book to the learning center. Your giving provides hope, healing, and wholeness to the children in our community.

During their stay, children can play and enjoy fun activities as an important part of their recovery. By embracing the whole child, we can address his or her needs through leading medical procedures, childhood distractions, and trained specialists who nurture our patients and their families through the healing process. Your gifts allow us to reach the highest standards of pediatric health care. And your commitment to providing this for a sick or injured child is deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,

Joanna DeLeon
Director, Children’s Hospital Foundation
